The Island 03:18
In the middle of the ocean, oh what a day, where the stars are only falling, and I’m glad to say, in the middle of the ocean, oh what a day, where the lights are only broken, and I’m glad to say, I can hear the sounds of people that lived far behind, I can hear them with the sand, the wind in my mind. First you go and say the forest is all alive, then you go and lay your fingers up in the sky.
2.
A Seed 03:56
I have inside of me a seed. it grows as we speak -oh yeah, right now- When I grow up I’ll be a tree. I’ll eat the fruit out of me -I’ll eat me- She'll grow wings to protect you. face of smiling reflections. you've been numb, let's affect you to forget the directions. Give me the key.
3.
Windy 04:16
When the wind blows into your nose, into your eyes everything sings, that's how it seems into your eyes. lend me one ear, I will be near, flying by your side. Blow dear wind blow, present your show into our eyes. caress our ears, cleanse all that is dirty inside. lend me one ear, I will be near, flying by your side. And all the world gets pushed a bit aside. Oh lord, at last some room in which to hide glittering souls that dance side by side.

Eat Me Up 03:09
So you're a frog and your green like this fog that surrounds all I see to this beauty I lean. So you're the prince, and your sins are what makes you a saint. you're insane, you come closer to me. You raise your hands, you smiling, asking to eat me up. you come in colors always asking to eat me up. skin, sweat, sweet holy flesh I'm food for your arms. So I’m a fish, I can swim in your bowl. I won't leave you alone cause I’ve tasted the sea. So I’m a fish you can't miss out my heart, when you start all that journey that comes with a kiss. I’ll raise my hands I’ll shout and ask you to eat me up. I’ll tie you to the ground and ask you to eat me up. skin, sweat, sweet holy flesh, I’m food for your arms. like the heat, like the cold, it's a need.
5.
Snow 03:55
Aim apples like dragons flying over red seas. these days are so epic, so vulgar and you see There's not even one dwarf defending my name. and there's no light ahead. The stars they look dead so I picked up some flowers. I stood where I stand now and watched them for hours. it's been time to set the bomb. Daisies find their way in the dark -be careful you little girl daisies know what space is and can smile -you've always known little girl daisies find their way to reach your hair so would you stop shaking it little girl. Maybe you know where I can stay in the woods somewhere. you do? will you take me there?

Blown Away 04:02
Show me the way to sleep tonight. lay by my side and close the light. Oh, all I feel a round deep grey. bigger and bigger now like air and like clay. We gazed all this urban solitude we cried for freedom this shouting aches I walked on starry pavement glowing bright and that is definitely what caused all this fright. With light for surface one cannot see. I felt the aura, a lot of pain inside. come smiley baby get out of your mind. I woke up in a fairytale. I liked the weather, it's always spring. I woke up in a fairytale. see, life is easy we have to live. like a grain of sand I’m blown away.

The Moon 03:03
The moon is making rounds and rounds the moon is making lots of sounds it's coming crawling behind my head it's following me wherever I stand. I’m blessed, I know it in my head. this moon is following my every step. she knows whenever I will cry and when I laugh I see her smile. And I’ll hide my face, as I’m falling from grace. and I’m closing my eyes, as I’m leaving paradise. This yellow moon will haunt me to death she knows that I have no time left she thinks that I will not survive her scary look and her lullabies. But I have my own moon in my head and by this one I’m always lead. I’ll leave the true one far behind ‘cause my own moon can teach me flying.

Repetition 03:04
Every color has turned grey and yeah sure it rained today I watched it through a dirty glass I watched it fall. I woke up to see the rain time I stopped being insane. always trying to watch the sky I closed my eyes. Every morning I arrive every dusk I’m forced to leave someone told me I’m alive but he's playing games with me. I have nothing but two words. I am balancing on rods. repetition is a bitch. no change, no change. When I thought I’d spread my wings I have lost my will to fly. soaked in mud whispering goodbye bye, bye.

The mountain's deep, ten meters long the mountain's deep, I start to fall And sounds are falling off its walls. the mountain's deep, deep is the voice. You have the chance, you have the choice to do whatever you need to do. And we will make it by ourselves, the revolution from our beds. don't be afraid. The hives will burst in your eyes I rest. And we will burn them to the ground and green will spread its lovely gown of course we'll win. And we will make it by ourselves the revolution from our beds. love is all we need to do. The hives will burst in your eyes I rest. The river flowing beneath my feet, the earth is growing come dance with me. The hives will burst in your eyes I rest. And we will make it by ourselves the revolution from our beds, and you are someone I know now.
10.
Longing to express, easily depressed, we're all pregnant with electric stress. Facing your own crowd, having to make proud those who brought you this distress. Most of us are deaf, and those who are left are exposed to so much dirty sound. Welcoming the worse. Just push your lips together. Grab me by the hand, I will make you stand happy in front of all this misery. Just confide in me, I will make you see all that's worth is hanging from a tree.

The Wave 01:17

about

Two years after her first album "Barock", Nalyssa Green has earned the love of a diverse audience and the interest of music critics by composing and performing her own songs. Her second album, "The Seed", rewards those who believed in her from the first moment and welcomes the "uninitiated" in her unique musical microcosm.

The songs of this album talk about nature and man as an integral part of it and about how human happiness is intertwined with life in the wild. "The Seed" confronts the alienation of everyday virtual reality and listens to the truth of the elements of nature. It supports the return to normality and is looking forward to the revolution of beauty. The seed’s power is inverse to its size. It embodies every possible future, distant and remote as anything viewed from afar. But it also carries the tangible promise of its realization.

"The Seed" was recorded by Nalyssa, Spiros Livanis and Evaggelos Aslanidis in a rustic house in mountainous Corinth, in the winter of 2011. There, they set up all their musical toys and created the songs with a background of a wanton nature, hidden beneath white veils, preparing to appear prosperous and ecstatic with the arrival of spring. The approach is homemade and handmade, with an eye to completeness, truthfulness, tense atmosphere and catharsis.

"The Seed" is out in special edition cd and digital album from Inner Ear.
